What are Gen Z's biggest problems?
People in the age range of 9 to 24 years would be considered Gen Z. This generation has seen a lot of ups and downs even before they passed out from high school starting from the pandemic, highly unstable income sources, school shootings, and borderline starting of world war.

All these things and much more, where Boomers and millennials were thriving with opportunities and making big moves like buying houses and getting job security.
While Gen Z’s crucial years were spent in the pandemic behind their screen. Along with the threat of starting a world war.
All this is just the tip of the iceberg, we have not yet talked about the problems that they have expressed at their level.
So what are Gen Z’s biggest problems? We have captured a few of them and tried to make a list of them.
Student debt
Education and degrees are important to get a stable and decent-paying job but at what cost? More than 57 million students are in student debt and after a year or month of getting the loan, they have to start paying their student loan.
No matter what the circumstances are they must give their payments without any stable jobs or good working conditions along with working on minimum wage which has not changed for a significant amount of time.
For example in the USA, the minimum wage is 7.25$ which has not been revised since 2009.
Constant comparison
The tech native born with a smartphone in their hands which has a social media platform installed in it. Social media is a great way to connect with people and catch up on the latest news.
But besides that, these social media platforms are places for perfectionists and overachievers who have figured it out as compared to normal kids who are struggling with their lives.
They unintentionally get compared to other kids. This constant comparison is one of the greatest contributors to stress, and depression among the young.
Environmental Issue
Yes, This generation is very concerned about climate change, pollution levels, constant forest fires and everything which is related to the environment and Earth.
This generation is aware of the poor condition of the flora and fauna which is going to cost the future generation in the long run. They are worried about a product having a low carbon footprint, recyclable,
No meaningful relationships
People are getting more and more isolated and reserved. The prime time to forge a long-lasting relationship is around the age of 14 to 25. However, due to the pandemic, there are many people who were not able to do so.
Gen Z struggles to communicate its emotions which is ironic because they are the most vocal generation till now. The factor which made a major impact was the pandemic as most of this generation had remote schooling and work.
All these things impact the soft and social skills of this generation.

What are the best ways to improve mental health?
We have discussed the problems that are major problems which are contributing to the bad mental health of Gen Z. Here, we will talk about the aspect which can create a better place for Gen Z.
Find your purpose
It is important for every human to find a purpose which motivates them to get out of bed in the morning. Finding your purpose is not limited to looking for a career or finding your interest but it also covers the aspect of being at a mental peace.
Better working conditions
It is pretty evident that people in this generation are very different from their previous generation. The way boomers and millennials work will not be suitable for this gen as they have a very different approach to life and work.
Limit your time on social media
Social media has made our lives better. We have more control over what we want to see, and who we want to connect with. But the problem is when this becomes an addiction.
At this point it is natural and at some point even necessary to use social media but the thing becomes problematic when we have things to do and we start to procrastinate.
Then comes the comparison, how many times have we seen people look and sound, absolutely different in real life? yet they make us feel insecure.
The picture-perfect profiles and posts which give us FOMO is the problem here. FOMO stands for Fear Of Missing Out. This creates an illusion that if they are not on social media then they are missing it, if they are working then they are missing out on life and in the end they will be missing out on everything.
Try to forge a meaningful relationship
It is important to excel in your career and achieve great milestones but then it is equally important to have people who will celebrate it with you.
Human is a social creature who needs to have a companion who will understand and listen to them without any judgement. Since the time of evolution, the sole reason behind human being able to survive is because of our ability to be with each other in hard times.
Due to many reasons, this generation fails to forge these bonds and relationships which is the leading cause behind the high rate.
